Karsh, grieving his wife Becca’s (Diane Kruger) death from cancer, obsessively checks her buried skeleton, noticing strange nodules. His own bones are weakening, and his dentist remarks, “Grief is rotting your teeth,” offering Becca’s old X-ray JPEGs for comfort. Becca’s sister Terry, who looks identical (also played by Kruger), and a Siri-like assistant, “Hunny,” blur the line between the living and the dead. Flashbacks reveal Becca’s cancer surgeries disfiguring her body. Terry, despite her resemblance, asserts her own identity, sparking an unspoken attraction with Karsh.
